Martial Arts Training and Scholarship

A BRIDGE TO ADULT LIFE:

 

Learning skills many take for granted like job interviewing, resume writing and reliability can be a challenge. MATS builds bridges to our community and provides a framework - academic mentoring, martial arts and job support training - that builds future leaders and offers a supportive backbone to kids who are often forgotten.

 

Many scholarship programs offer a weeklong camp and then send young adults back into the world. MATS fosters sponsored athletes over the long haul so they can develop meaningful relationships with adults, coaches, and mentors. When a long-term relationship is established young adults have a supportive framework that helps them address their life challenges.
